Jay Bluhm, Co-Founder and Principal of Lewis & Bluhm Financial Group, LLC., was introduced to the financial services industry as a young adult, when he was approached by a financial advisor who helped him get his first term life insurance policy. Through nearly a decade of working with his adviser he was introduced to income replacement protection, permanent life insurance planning, tax advantaged savings, and investment strategies. His eagerness to learn, coupled with his passion for education, drove him to share his saving, protection, and investing strategies with his friends and family. And, in 2019, he decided to make that passion his profession and become a financial advisor

Financial education is something that I feel is lacking in our society. It’s my mission to make holistic financial planning, and professional financial advice, accessible to the 99% if Americans who need it the most.”

Jay enjoys serving small business owners, solo entrepreneurs, state and federal employees, educators, young families, and retirees. His areas of specialization include: Protection Planning, Investment Strategies, Education Funding Solutions, Retirement Income Planning, Group Benefit Solutions, Estate and Legacy Planning.

A native Minnesotan, Jay and his wife Kelly have lived in Western Washington for 10+ years and love everything the PNW has to offer. When he is not in the office, Jay can be found playing with his wife Kelly and their two children, Hattie and Hudson; working in his yard; doing projects around the house with a toddler by his side; or helping his neighbors with projects of their own.  A lifelong musician, Jay enjoys playing drums or marimba. And he also tries to squeeze in as many early-bird golf rounds as possible throughout the year, so that he can get home early enough to have breakfast with his family.
