DAVID LEWIS, CHFC®, CLU®

David Lewis, Co-Founder and Principal of Lewis & Bluhm Financial Group, LLC., was introduced to the financial services industry at an early age, when, as a thirteen-year old looking to invest the money he earned mowing lawns, an adviser helped him to buy shares of WorldCom, rather than the shares of Apple he had initially hoped to purchase. Though WorldCom ultimately went bankrupt and Apple ultimately went on to become, well, Apple, the experience did not turn David off entirely to the financial services industry. Instead, it ignited a lifelong curiosity about investing, good financial decision-making, and how financial advisors can best bring value to their clients’ lives.

David serves business owners, farmers, union employees, and high net worth families. His areas of specialization include: Investment Solutions, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Business Solutions, and Insurance Design.

When he is not in the office, David enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and their two dogs, Maude and Clementine. An avid outdoorsman, David can routinely be found snowboarding at Mt. Baker Ski Area, hiking on one of Whatcom County’s many trails, riding his bike, running, practicing yoga, or golfing. He also enjoys cooking, movies, music, and reading novels.
